"Why should I reserve a seat?" you may be asking. "Doesn't my paid admission into the game include a general admission seat?" Yes, it does. But a reserved seat offers you more - much more. How much more? Here are The Top Ten Reasons For Reserving Your Seat at The Trojan Marching Band Performances:
- 10) Your seat is your seat for the entire regular football season. If you're running late your seat will be reserved and waiting for you - no Andy Frain intervention necessary!
- 9) Your printed name will be placed on your seat(s). If a personalized box (sort of) seat at a sporting event is on your bucket list, you'll be able to check that one off!
- 8) You'll be seated amongst fellow Marching Band parents and guardians - we dare you to not make new friends!
- 7) Sitting amongst fellow Marching Band parents you'll be able to drop phrases like "I really hope the band gets to turn their shakos around tonight," and "The band's gauntlets really add pop to their uniforms' appearance" and you'll elicit knowing nods, not quizzical stares.
- 6) You'll be close enough to the band action to see the fork behind Band Director Mr. Smith's ear.
- 5) You'll be able to ask someone seated nearby why Mr. Smith has a fork behind his ear
- 4) When the "Color Guard Bake Sale!" chant breaks out you are right there as it happens!
- 3) GREAT photo opportunities! You'll be close enough to pick out the uniformed musician/student who actually belongs to you.
- 2) Your close proximity to the musical action means you won't miss a note of the Trojan Marching Band's AMAZING performances. On the field and in the stands. The energy is incredible and palpable when you're that close.
- 1) Proceeds from the sale of reserved seats benefit the DGN Friends of Fine Arts. ALL Fine Arts programs receive support from DGN FOFA.
And now, the deets:
$35 per seat, $30 each for 2 seats and $25 each for 3 or more seats.

Please note that the purchase of a reserved seat in the stadium stands is not a ticket into the football game. Spectators must still purchase entrance to individual events. Two options exist: An adult may purchase a $40 Varsity Athletic Event Adult Pass Admission to Varsity competitions that charge an entrance fee: basketball (boys/girls), football, volleyball (boys/girls) and wrestling. Without pass, admission fees are $5/adults and $5 children not accompanied by an adult. All other competitions are free admittance; pass excludes IHSA tournaments and events. District 99 students receive free admittance with current school year ID.
When considering the purchase of an adult pass, remember that a District 99 student receives free admittance to all events during the year with their current school year ID. If your family plans to attend the football games, and rarely attend other athletic events during the year, purchasing walk-up tickets at the gate might likely be the most economical.
