A Sincere and Heartfelt Thank You

As the 2018-19 school year comes to an end and we prepare to send off our graduating DGN seniors with a hearty "Congratulations!" and a wistful "Farewell..." as they head into the next chapter of their lives, DGN Friends of Fine Arts would also like to recognize and thank our "Graduating Parent" officers and chairpersons.

Finally, one last (but certainly not least) "thank you" to FOFA's "Retiring Officer" Chris Saba who has served as Secretary for many years and will be missed, for sure!

A Reminder For FOFA's May Meeting

This month's Friends of Fine Arts meeting is WEDNESDAY May 15th at 7:00 pm in the DGN Alumni Room. This is the last FOFA meeting of the 2018-2019 year - and what a year it has been!

All are welcome and encouraged to attend as we review finances and fund raisers, address volunteer resources, hear teachers' reports and open the floor to new business, including the elections of Board Members and Officers. We'll review this past year and discuss plans and upcoming dates for the new year. 

DGN FOFA meeting are always concise and informative and well worth your time investment - hope to see you there!

FOFA Presents Inaugural Senior Scholarships!

Jozie Arenz & Lucie Boyd - 2019 DGN FOFA Senior Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to seniors Jozie Arenz and Lucie Boyd who were recognized at North High's Awards Night with DGN Friends of Fine Arts College Scholarships. 

This was the inaugural year of the scholarships, honoring a student who plans to pursue the arts as a major in college, as well as a student who plans to continue their involvement with the arts as an avocation during their post-secondary studies. 

2019 DGN- FOFA Plant and Flower Sale

Thanks to our DGN Friends of Fine Arts parents and students for their terrific work on the 2019 Plant Sale!

Special appreciation is extended to Ms. Hopkins and Ms. Szostak for their incredible coordination of the sale and all of the energy they contributed to this important fundraiser!
